The 2026 summer course will run on Mondays at 7pm for 10 weeks, starting on the 20th of July, at The Tram Depot in Cambridge (we will skip September 7th due to the pub being double booked, so the course will finish September 28th).
You can sign up to the course on the online store, but cash or bank transfers are preferred. The prices are:
- Full 10-week course = £80 (students £60)
- Individual drop-in lesson = £12 (students 10)
In this course, we will go from the fundamentals of tango dancing to creating our own figures. Each lesson will address a different topic:
- Week 1 – Linear movements
- Week 2 – Concentric movements
- Week 3 – Hybrid movements
- Week 4 – Equivalent expressions
- Week 5 – Combining movements
- Week 6 – Postures & Embraces
- Week 7 – Deconstructing figures
- Week 8 – Constructing figures
- Week 9 – Qualities of movement
- Week 10 – Music interpretation
